Why doesn't a kid deserve a gun at that age? Even if they are really into paintball? So your kid is really good at baseball, but you won't buy him a new glove that fits him, you make him use a 5 year old glove that is falling apart? To teach him the value of the dollar? Exact same situation. My parents had supported me playing sports(still do). I have played all kinds of sports and play lots of baseball and used to play basketball. They paid for me to play in all kinds of leagues and go to camps. I started paintball and love every bit of it and am on a serious tourney team. They help me out with paint and field fees. They don't pay for nearly all of it, and once I can get a job they won't pay for any of it. I see nothing wrong with him having a kick arse gun.
