          ..

Wait for the B2K5, I have a B2K4 and love it but there is one reason to wait for the 05'.......NO TRAY! But I'm in no financial situation to justify another brand new gun but if you have the means, go for the 05'.

My suggestion when you get your BKO if it is brand new. DO NOT UPGRADE IT!!!!! Leave it stock!!

Shocktech parts dont work for ****!

Vapor parts well my valve never actually worked well!

Chaos board well is a decent board but mine at the cup the programing on it went to hell. Thank god i bought a proto matrix the day before i had to play.

Just change the barrel, maybe the hpr and if u want send it to ICD for PDS.

2k5 bushy's are basically timmies. hoses to the noid and etc. i think the 2k3-4's will remain a higher quality marker.

in the not too distant future, 2k3-4's will be pretty inexpensive compared to the 2k5's.
i agree that pds is a big plus as well.

i'd stay away from the bko's. i know of too many people that have issues either out of the box or short term.

              Florida peeps...step up!!

I just sold my '04 BKO, for $250 shipped, you should be able to pick one up for about the same. However, I sold it because I could not get it to stop chopping when I would get on the trigger hard (and I bought a freestyle to replace it). I doubt that I was outshooting my egg with a stock BKO. My advice would be find a bushy with PDS, or even if you can find a BKO that has had PDS added, that would be fine.

EDIT: here is a link to a PDS B2K4 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

Have you sent them in for us to check them out and see what the problems are? You do know we offer a lifetime warranty on our parts. All you have to do is get them to us and we'll repair or replace them free of charge??
                  Thanks,

I think you're better off not paying attention to the 1% of people that have their guns go wrong. Also - I'm sure you can send it in and get it fixed for free just about all of those places you bought from, maybe not shocktech, but Vapor will, they've already said that in this thread.

I have a BKO and I'll upgrade it. Of course, I figure that at least with a BKO you can get more of your money back by upgrading it then I would have with my Spyder.

I've seen quite a few BKO's sell for over $400. I figure I might as well slowly upgrade my gun and get it to be the best I can and the best for me and then eventually sell it and get a new gun that I can upgrade again.

So to answer your question, if you have the money, get a BKO (You can get them brand new in box on ebay for about $250), a nice barrel kit, a nitro tank, and maybe a few more things if you have more money. Overall - The BKO can own and it is quite reliable. The b2k4 w/pds is another great gun... Just get whichever is sexxxier I guess...

all you need to make a bko run good and reliably is a little brains and some loctite. i found if you try to shoot the gun as fast as it will go you will chop. the trigger does bounce if you let it. it will chop. if you relax and let the gun do the work it will shoot fast without chopping.

What kind of mag you got?? I like em all. I have an all blue 03 BKO that was upgraded by ICD to 04 internals. Comes with matching blue ricochet. Has worked like a champ for me. It has tended to be a loaner now that I have my new ULE. Have one kid who wants to buy it but has yet to show any cash.
