Heh, even if it was a joke I didn't read it as one. The cats around here are annoying as crap; they eat all my cat's food, tear up the garbage, wake us up at night (yes CATS wake us up sometimes). Probably woundn't want to kill the things, but if we can't get rid of them we're gonna have to take em to the pound. The thing is, a few of the cats are actually someone around here's pets. We don't know who but we know they belong to someone. The squirrels around here though are pretty cool (kinda like me, I know ) but if they got to be a pest pop a cap in 'em. I'm sure any fellow true southerner can vouch for, well, our "methods" around here (hehe jk, we usually don't kill the little buggers if we can help it)

Actually... no. Squirrels destroy gardens and cause thousands of dollars of house damages every year. They are varmints, so to me it's no different than getting rid of mice.

Stray cats kill other people's pets (little dogs and cats) because usually they are in survival mode or they have rabies. Again, I don't mind getting rid of stray cats that I know are a threat. However, the last stray cat to come around here ended up living here for about 8 years and was a great cat. Ended up disappearing year ago most likely because a coyote, bobcat or other cat got him.
