I was just wondering if the new rocker triggers from Kingman that claim user attainable 30bps fire rates are tourny legal? I don't think they would be. I was also wondering if the raven primal marker is more like a timmy using a ram instead of a sear tripping grip frame? I don't understand the whole "solenoid direct electro system". Thanks in advance for answers.

I am not sure of the exact in's and out of it all but the friend/rep from Kingman that I talked to about this about a month ago said that the final version that is going to be released IS tourney legal.
As far as the primal it sure LOOKS like a timmy...i shot one and all it did was break paint...with the eye on!!who cares how your marker looks...just move fast and shoot straight

last i heard they were not legal because it technically is 2 triggers and you can only have one. Just what i have heard dont know for sure.
JT...and by golly there will be flavored paint, because i said so

don't you mean two switches? there is only one physical trigger, the trigger pin is just mounted in the mid point of the trigger.Originally posted by thereal_JTlast i heard they were not legal because it technically is 2 triggers and you can only have one. Just what i have heard dont know for sure.

The primal is more along the lines of a BKO in operation. Its not a sear tripper, the "solenoid direct electro system" is kingman hype-speak for an air-forwatd, spring return ram system. The primal is actually considered to be the reincarnation of the EM1.

I'm also doubting the legality of it in tournaments, as similar designs have been deemed illegal in the past. However, the designers of the kingman version say they have a letter from the nppl allowing it. Who knows, maybe now in the time of super-bounce and blatant ramping, a 2 switch system doesnt seem like that big of a deal.

Thankfully most kingman customers are recballers, not NPPL players!
Everybody's focues on 'tourney legal' sure, but just remember the audience that this is marketed toward. Namely those who don't play tournaments. I think the phrase 'tourney legal' is more of just a marketing thing, like "it's more Low Pressure" or "board can go 66.6 bps" type of stuff.

^^ true that....
i think the frame is legal though. and the primal is like a bko, but it has eyes. ive heard a lot of good things about the primal, id like to try one out myself.Remember, nitrogen hits harder!
