Yea, the best blend of a scenario and tourny would be an e-tac. Just get a used emag ($600-700) and slap a tac-one on it ($200). If you can afford it though, I know I couldn't. If not, the tac-one is fine for both. My RT Custom allows me to compete plenty fine with other players on the field. Of course I'm a frontman so I don't spray and pray. If you do a lot of snapshooting, any ULT equipped mech mag is great.
How fast is the Tac One?

keep in mind that the gun doesnt make the player. just because you dont have a 1200 dollar electro doesnt mean you cant keep up with an automag, it just means itll be harder.Yummy yummy yummy, I've got fun in my tummy.

Yes, but it ain't tourney-legal.Originally posted by n30ncabbitDo you think this marker is consistantly capable of rapid firing at electro speeds?

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

It would depend on the field if they would allow it. It is way slower than timmys and DMs, unless you set up the ULT trigger to bounce, but it can get you in trouble. I almost had the Emag DQ'd at the chrono the other day cause I was using mechanical mode (trigger bounce). I had to explain it's modes and show them. A big mess. They had a beef with it from the get go and found away to DQ the gun anyway. Oh well. I think the Tac-One would make a fine marker for a front or maybe a mid player tourney wise, but not a backman. When you set up the trigger and and learn to use it it can be pretty quick, but you may find a field that might get funny about it.
