what speed is considered fast? with rt

What is considered "decently fast" on a mech RT? Just curious what you guys thought. And thats without rapid-fire.

    BPS-----16? 15? 14? 13? 12? 11? 10? 9? whatcha think

10 is fast for a classic mag.

12-14 would be fast on a RT.

But you can't sustain BPS as well on an RT as you can on an electro it seems. Works fine for snap shooting though.

agreed. 12-14bps on a ULT Mag is decent speed, but not easily sustained as is my emag.

Sorry, I think you are falling for BS. A sustained 10bps is damn fast for an Rt without special firing techniques.

I think people forget what true 13bps sounds like.

I should make a little metronome thing for paintballers.

Realize an m16 fires at a little over 10 rounds per second.

we are talking about 13 bps for about 5-6 shots or even 8. And yes that it possible. I know what 13 sounds like cause I use an emag for my main marker, and my backup ULT mag is very fast for about 5-6 shots.

I sound test myself at home, its not BS. 9-10 BPS is easily attainable on an intelliframed classic mag.

12-14 is attainable on a ULT RT.

These are peak speeds, your average will be lower depending on how long your sample time is.

Thats funny. When i posted a vid not to long ago i was sustaining 10-11 bps and lots of people said I was slow. In the vid i could get much faster but i wanted to wait and make a better vid with a better cam. z-man did a sound test on it. Thats wiithout ult. Interesting.

Are those somehow nonvalid ways of shooting a paintball gun? How else are we supposed to shoot it? Shooting the traditional way, you cant expect to get over like 8 bps, and thats with any gun.
I've got around 12 on a single trigger old skool rt fanning.. no ult.. what a workout
I get 12-13 fairly consistantly on my ult mag fanning it..
I would say 14-15 is just about the limit for legal shooting with mags. I dont know if anyone can shoot that fast though.
                            I consider 12-13 decently fast

I am not sure what you mean by "rapid fire". RT's by their very design have a built in sweetspot. With the right frame or sear rod , on/off, or pressure adjustment they can scream. We have all seen Zmans video.....

With a Logic frame on my RTP and the stops adjusted just so I could easily get it to fire faster than my egg.
