    More Sad News from AGD - Bye JoAnn

    This forum is an archive of some of the more classic posts from Automags.org. A great place to find stored information.

    I don't know how many caught this, but another staple of AGD is leaving.

    JoAnn, I do not know you all that well, but I do know you and Marcia kept that front office humming. No one will ever be able to take the place of the "BossLady".

    Agreed

    Joann,
    I did speak to you several times over the years and you are a super nice person. You were a tremendous asset to Tom and AGD. I wish you the best of luck in the future, and thank you for the years of service at AGD.

          Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
          And sorry I could not travel both
          And be one traveler, long I stood
          And looked down one as far as I could
          To where it bent in the undergrowth;
          Then took the other, as just as fair,
          And having perhaps the better claim,
          Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
          Though as for that the passing there
          Had worn them really about the same,
          And both that morning equally lay
          In leaves no step had trodden black.
          Oh, I kept the first for another day!
          Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
          I doubted if I should ever come back.
          I shall be telling this with a sigh
          Somewhere ages and ages hence:
          Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
          I took the one less traveled by,
          And that has made all the difference.

          -- Robert Frost

          Did you ever imagine, JoAnn, all those years ago, that the path you chose would touch so many? That your voice would confirm the hopes of thousands? That your actions would chase away uncertainty and bring forth so much happiness and satisfaction?
          You made the difference.

          May your days be blessed and full of warmth.
          Thank you for being all that you are.

            I wish you all the best, thank you for all the help and working so hard to keep me on the feild.
            all that effort without ever knowing who was on the other line execpt an impatiant baller.
            THANK YOU and best of luck.
            Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....

                              I talked to her via email today.

                              Told her I'll miss dialing extension 110 or getting those phone calls "Brad, we need to talk, what's this on your expense report receipts, duct tape, condoms and a gallon of bubbles?" (well, not quite that bad, but we wanted to one day). She'll be missed. They all will be missed.

                              I even miss Pat who left a few years ago. Miss the way she said "Crap" in her midwestern accent.

                              Have fun Jo...
