I use two of them on my X-mag and my ULE mag and so far I have nothing bad to say about them except for the price. Easy to install, comes with different size o-rings, and if you buy them from kila himself they are cheaper and he has different colors.

        Back to the original post...

I have never used one myself, but have known those who have.

Well made, and worth the money youll pay for it. A unique and thoughtful design. If you are looking for a magnetic detent, Id choose this one.
He's got a sale on, order from him and they're $25 a detent compared to $28.95 from AGD.

And I'm with you, I don't own any myself but I know one person who does. He can't tell the difference between them and normal spring-and-bearing detents except that the magnetic ones don't blow out - or at least havn't yet. He went through three normal detents before he bought the mag ones, he says he's happy with 'em.

Personally, I'm not going to be buying them unless I really feel like spending sixty dollars on detents that I can anno to match my marker. I can't justify spending $30 a whack for something that may or may not improve the performance of my marker. Pretty hypocritical of me, seeing as how I spent close to $300 for my mainbody when a ULE would do But if I ever do want to match my detents to my body, these'll be the ones I buy.

its more of a long term thing the magentic ones are supppose to last MUCH longer than normal detents.

theyr expensive but ive already outlast two normal detents with my magnetic ones and they still look the same.

I have a v1 on one side of my dallara and a v2 on the other (should pick up another v2) I used them all summer with alot of use. The v2 has really stood up without complaint. The v1 has had the internals replaced a couple times. The v2 really does work great, doesn't come loose and works well against the bolt. It is expensive but I have been impressed.

It is better that people think your a dumb@$$ then for you to open your mouth and confirm it.

I Just saw this post and wanted to comment on the pricing of the Kila V2. We have just finished some lean manufacturing techniques and improvements which have enabled us to produce the V2's at a lower cost. Our dealers reecently recieved a notice regarding this change and reduction of the MSRP, which is now $24.95. With Tom's retirement, it is possible this was an oversight or just has not been updated on the online store. This notice went out weeks before our selling price dropped to the current MSRP and allowed our dealers time to clear out their on hand inventory. This is definately not an attempt to undercut our dealers/lifelines, but an attempt to offer the best, high quality product and service to our customers at a lower price. On a side note, many of our dealers sell our products over the MSRP.

                  Happy Holidays to all,

                  Rob
