would it be bad karma to...

buy a palmer micro rock lpr in a color I don't want, and spraypaint it flat black?

or should I just pony up the extra $15 or whatever and get the anno I want to start with? even if that means waiting a week longer?

would anyone think less of me?

Spraypaint isn't usually that "Flat" IMO. Do the anno.

Don't be cheap, spend the $15. It will look 100x better and last 10000x longer.

I don't care if it's flat or not, and it's not going on a cocker. It's just the rest of my marker is black and a bright color would clash. Palmers is selling brand new blue microrocks on thier site for $40.

Spraypaint will wear, and that will look just awful (learned that the hard way). Get the annoed if you care about looks, otherwise get the blue and leave it alone, it'll look better than spraypainted.
