my friend just got his stock 03 bko and when you shoot it slowit is fine and the guage resets itself, but when you shoot at higher ROF then it takes a second for the guage to reset it self back to 350 psi. i was using an angel AIR and i thought that it could have been the output pressure wasn't high enough so i tried to make it go higher but it wasn't for some weird reason. i also think it could be the regulater sux since it is the stock 03 bko one. any ideas of wats going on. lmk thanx

IM HERE
Well, Im not too sure. I used to have this problem on a different gun...
The stock BKO regs are not very optimal, but they shouldnt allow for shootdown to occur. What you might have to do is Lube the reg and LPR. Take it apart, lube it, then re-install. That is probably your problem and this should help. If it doesnt? Try lubing the bolt, but I highly doubt that the bolt is causing any shootdown.

Was 350 what the gauge was at? cause if it is thats like really high you should be around 270. Use a high output tank as in 850 or so psi.
First put the hpr at 275 then adjust the lpr in tiny incremeents over the chrony until your at your desired fps.
Youll have to put about a tank thru it before the regs get broken in. Personally, my stock reg is very consistant pulling like +-4 over the chrono.
