my opinion, I would rather have a solid piece revy than one that can break apart

I dont know where you can get some old shells, but there is a major difference i the shells. Pre BE the shells were more flexible. they could almost be squeezed to a certain degree. The new shells gave that feature away for some reason. So they are easier to crack if shot or jostled.
I dont think that the tripod has the x board speed esecially with the largest ball capacity.

I had the unfortunate 2 year long experience of having a BE style xboard 12v revvy. The shells were brittle and the neck broke almost every time I played. The electronics were pretty good though. As stated before, just make sure you get an older style with the softer pre-BE shells. Probably would cost around $30-35 used. That reminds me, I gotta find an old, pre-BE 9v to load my Qpods with lol...

For the money you just can't beat the revvy. With an x-board and a vortex impailer you may get a consistant 12-13 bps and it can handle 13-15 bps burst. In all reality though if you can walk a trigger 14+bps this loader just won't keep up.As far as reliability, like everybody says it rock solid.I wouldn't invest in the q-loader or the trip-pod system yet. They are both good products, but they are constantly upgrading them, givin a little more time I'm sure the bugs and little quirks will all be taken care of,but the x-board has already been debugged and is well proven.

Revis are like condoms. If you don't take care of them correctly they will break and you will get all the goo inside the wrong thing... So treat it nicely and it should work well... If not your gun will be pregnet enless it's on LVL 10 (Birth Control)

The profile is like putting a regular VL200 hopper on there IMO.

For weight, its less then a pound on thescale,(w/batteries) but makes my tippy feel a little side heavy when filled up with paint. I enjoy the hopper though, no problems.

Impeller, the vortex impeller is a replacement blade for the revvy. However, an xboarded revvy is not going to be able to handle 15bps. It had a little trouble feeding consistantly when I was shooting 12-13bps with it. 12 is really the magic number IMO.

15 bps is more than a revy can handle, which is why I say burst. If your shooting 12 bps and you get a little extra bounce the revy can catch 2-3 extra balls (equalling 14-15) but there is no way it can sustain it .What it boils down to is how fast do you need to shoot and how much are you wiling to spend. If you can just rip a trigger than you need to upgrade, but if bps isn't your magic (like me) than the revy is a great option.(and used is very cheap $30)

easy way to solve the shells problem= new reloader 2. The shells on the new reloader are extremely well designed.
