Carbon Fiber body???

so i was just curiuse if anyone has ever heard about a carbon fiber automag body, becouse i am trying to make my gun as light as possible, and i want my body to match my stiffi barrel.

Probably wouldn't work b/c it would be too flexible. The tolerences wouldn't hold very well.

If you want it to match, you can get a ULE body and have it laser engraved so it looks like carbon fiber...

do a quick search. There was a thread about this a few weeks back. It has some pics in it of a mag that was wrapped wtih carbon fiber. It actually just added to the weight because it was wrapped over the existing aluminum body but it looked pretty interesting

yeah a carbon mag isnt possible due to tolerance and other mainly $ reasons.
the sticker sheet or laser engraving is your best bet

here is the CF bolt, made by orange, (dunno if its inc, co, paintball products, whatever) they also make them for timmies, spyders, and various other markers, i also saw a atiffi bolt on ebay for cockers the other day, the orange one for the matrix (in pic) was supossed to up efficency, but, i hear it really does little to nothing for it

You could make a carbon fiber Mag body if you used a very think tube of aluminum as a base to hold the tolerances.

Colin of Deadly Wind had a carbon fiber wrapped Karta body at IAO, it looked very cool, but not weight saving as the same amount of aluminum was under the wrap.
