Length of E-mag ASA screws?

I just measured my 1inch screws that I used on a previ. mech gun and about 3/4 of an inch sticks out. Is it normal to only use quarter inch asa screws? Won't that put alot of stress on them and possibly strip em?

Go get 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2. See which fits best. wala, or cut them yourself to the perfect length.

I think I'm running 1/2" ones... maybe 3/8". There's not that much stress that will be applied to them, unless you plan on using your tank as a baseball bat.
