    Hi Renegade,

Please feel free to do some hand drawings if you have ideas of how you would like a gun milled. Dave has been doing some fantastic drawings and it looks very likely that his first theme will be prototyped!

Do we always need competitions for people to participate? It would be nice to think that we do not, but I will see what is possible... How's about the winner gets the pride of seeing his idea prototyped and made into a working gun? That's some bragging rights if it becomes a main stream product!

      Oh man, oh man.
I agree with Manike, it's time to stop asking what Tom will give us and start to give back.
Alone the honor of having your design being part of AGD's product line should overwhelm you with joy and satisfaction...not to mention the publicity, the women that will be chasing after you, the people coming up and asking you to autograph their gun...etc.
I posted my drawings a while back. At first I was skeptical because I didn't want to give away my design before making it.
Then, well, it dawned on me that sharing my ideas is way more fun than just keeping them to myself.
I also know for a fact that my ideas are too complicated to follow through with unless you're a madman who wants to spend 200 hours creating each unit.
Let that be some advice for those would be designers out there.
Keep it simple, and always consider the restrictions of a manufacturing atmosphere. These guys have to be able to make it work so that it the time and money involved reflects a reasonable price that the consumer will be willing to pay.
Do it for Tom though guys, the more of you that get interested and involved, the more Tom will enjoy it.
I'd like to see a small gallery of all the drawings and computer images so that we all have a good overview and can formulate critiques better.
The fantasy E-mag contest board should just be expanded into a display of the members contributions(once the contest is over of course)
      Just a thought.

        Hey Dan,

How are you doing in Germany? At the start of March I may be in Stuttgart (sp?) is that anyhwhere near you? How about dinner and more paintball talk? I was actually just going to send you a PM about it.

How's the career path going? Well I hope.

anyway onto topic Post up your pictures again in these milling threads please. I remember thinking I could actually do one of them quite easily. Since you made me such a fantastic trigger if you buy an Extreme I will do your own milling for you! I was thinking the maze of blocks one wouldn't be too hard... unless of course you just want to do your own

Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

That's one of the drawings, I'll have to look for the other one. I'll post the link when I find it.
Germany's doing great, things are getting more and more interesting every day. I've got applications every where and a few interviews coming up. I'll let you know when something concrete happens.
Stuttgart sounds awesome! I have friends near there and a paintball field there that I want to check out anyway. Just let me know when and where you have time and we'll meet.
I also definitely want to be at the world cup this year and other millenium events. If you have any website links you could give me to inform myself with, that would be great.
As far as the milling goes, well, I'm sure you know that I want to do my own. By all means, if you want to do either of these designs for yourself or someone else, go ahead because I've got other plans for the extreem in the meantime.
I have a new idea every night, and I've been scribbling a lot of them down. I might make some into serious drawings to offer to AO...we'll see how much time I get.
As far as the trigger goes, you won it, and you don't owe me anything...but you could always get me one of those extreem bodies with some extra aluminum meat on there. I'll show you what I'm thinking about when we meet up in Stuttgart.
