this is the culmination of 2 tedious hours on MS paint...i really need a good imaging app...but, despite my lack of blending ability i think it came out somewhat decently.

It looks like a pretty engraving with some back end chopped off. It's not bad but I'd like to see more chopped off.

Nice lions. Some milling above the lions would be nice. Maybe like the indentions on the SFL.

if I post more pics i will start deleting the oldest one that is currently up as i refine the idea based on your comments, i don't want the load time to become unbearable

Hm... the sight rail thingy on top doesn't look too good. I don't like the peaks on it...

if you'd be so kind as to touch it up in photoshop, please do...i'm rather limited by MS paint...I also appreciate the criticism, i do think that it has gotten better looking through the pics, on the contrary, i'd like more requests, what i was aiming at was a pretty simple curviture with the lions as the only real intricacy. Give it a shot, i'm sure with photoshop it'll come out looking a lot better.

Ok, I took my time and redid it a little. All I did was put the engraving on there, carve out the rest of the body to match the breech, and fix the little gap. I left 2 notches for the breech. What should I do for the rest of the body? Any suggestions?
