    My proto-type blade emag trigger!!!!!!

Well i used 6061 aluminim 1/4 inch. I cut it with a hack saw but most was by hand. It shows b/c i got carried away at times. I also didnt use the right mill so my top magnet hole is off, so i cant put the screw in with out the trigger jamming. I also sanded the top down to far(width) so i couldnt press the magnet in i had to tape it on to test it. This was a prototype model and needs work done to it. I like the design and will try to stick with it is possible. Give me your thoughts!!!!!

Looks like a one sided lightning bolt. It would be a cool looking trigger if you could refine it more and put more emphasis on the design...

That is sweet I want one as soon as you get all the bugs figured out...and I think you should make it more jagged to make it look even moe like lightening!

I've got an idea... On the blade side carve in the front a little so the front matches the back and still is a blade style trigger

I dont like it...good work though. I would like mine more like the Eclipse Blade Trigger...or Cobra FLAT stick trigger personally. Just not my taste. GL on next model.

That's good work i-luv-my-rt. Certainly E-mag triggers are not as easy to make as many people would think. You also have to be careful about the magnet placement for the sensor but if yours is firing ok then you got it already

When we made the prototype blade trigger for my gun I was worried about how far forward the contact surface was. How does your's feel? Is it easy enough for you to get your fingers onto it and fire? I was ok with mine but I have big hands.

I like your kick back in above the magnet point, that's quite cool

i really like the feel of the trigger. On my next one(should be done by the end of the week) i am going to try to bring the trigger to more of a striaght up and down position with a larger almost ring on the bottom. Thanks for posting Manike. If you could give me a little help on the dimensions or specs of the trigger and magnets. Thanks!!!

erm, I'll try. We used a 3.2mm drill for the pivot pin IIRC. And a 6mm drill for the magnet hole at the top and I think it was 6.35mm for the magnet hole at the back. I think 6.35mm corresponds to a quarter of an inch bit. You could use this for both holes I expect, just glue the magnet into the top one well.

I have no idea what the thread for adjusting the magnet is (I would like to know, maybe a question for the tech forum?) as I didn't actually thread that bit. I just cut the hole at about 3mm

I initially made my trigger just a smidgen too long, I wanted it as low in the frame as possible and had to cut 1.5mm off the tip

I'm working on jigs at the moment but will get back around to triggers at a later date.

i like the design, you just need to do some fine tuning on it and it should be perfect
