i just finnished this gun today (boxing day)

specs 68 Automag
LVL 10 bolt, purple ULE body, CCM Clamping feedneck
Tac body rail, intelliframe, Dye sticky 3's, shocktech drop,
CCM on/off ASA, matchstick 1pice + JJceramic barrels.

what kind of foregrip is that and why is it so weird at the top?

That style foregrip was originally made to mount on an M4/M16 with a Knights Armament RIS (Rail Interface System) or other similiar system.

Could be a paintball knock off from Tactical Markers or something like that.
