Just wondering if anyone has a 05 apache loader? is it better then the egg?

The egg 2 is alot better than the apache and if you have the z board in the egg 2 it is alot faster that is what I use.

no the 05 apaqche is just as good and it comes with the new gear drive so it will feed just as fast

They're both going to feed around the same speed. The ricochet is definately going to be more reliable. The rico apache also has the ability to continue to function as a gravity hopper if the batteries go dead. The evo is cheaper though. So they both have their advantages/disadvantages. Having already owned and used viewloaders and ricochets, I'd pay the extra money for the apache.

I think pbgear.com has some apaches for around 40-50.

having tried both, ive found that i like the egg a lot more. i found that it fed faster and (although its arguable) felt sterdier (sp?). the apache i used broke within the first 2 days of use as well. this could be seen as a mere inconvienience though, because i understand that they have excellent customer serive.

if possible, definately go for the halo/reloader B, but out of the two listed choices i would easily take the egg.

Agreed. You can get a Halo B for $80 off ebay. It beats the socks off everything else under it.
