Slide checks have quick disconnects. Check out aci or ans for their slide check/qd. Install it with a 90 elbow on the lp port of the apoc. When you slide the slide check gas is released through little holes, you can then use the qd as if there is no pressure in the lines. When removed slide again and gas is released from with in the hose and the x-valve.

          cradle and mount

i have the cradle that came with my apoc2k and t seems sorta loose. i understand that i put the cradle on the bootom of my grip and then you slide the tank into the cradle. but when you tilt the gun back the tank starts to slide out of the cradle. am i doing something wrong here because i would like my tank be a bit more secure?

That is a Slide Check valve. Basically how it works is this. When you push forward on the slide, it turns on the air flow. When you pull back it shuts off the air flow and discharges air from the line.

The other thing you can get is called a Pro-Connect. It's a check valve and quick disconnect in one. It works on the same idea as a normal home air compressor disconnect, only it's small and runs at a higher pressure.

              http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/...8AAAD3A3ilA_2t

The Pro-Connect is more expensive, but it makes your setup a lot cleaner and smaller.

As Shane stated above, air fittings are nothing to fool with. If you do not understand how it all goes together, take it to your local pro-shop and have them put all the fitting on for you. If you do not have a local pro-shop, I am sure someone like Tuna would be willing to do it for a small fee (+ parts).

I do not know anything about the ACI Check Valve/QD. I do not know how safe it is.

There is a retaining screw on the top front half of the rail. Slide the tank onto the rail and tighten the screw down. simple as that

ok i figured the siuation with tightining the screw into my rail. i would think they would have somehihtng so we dont have to scratch ur regs by tightiing screws into them.

Why? You'll never see it. That is the way all dove tail mounts work.

                              Muzikman,

You seem pretty knowledge about the air-systems. I just purchased a Armageddon Tank and have the same types of disconnects that can be purchased from AGD. After reading your post, I went ahead and purchased the Staubli Pro-Disconnet with on/off.

Currently everything I have is brand new and never been used. What would be the best way to connect the tank to my gun?

1: Connect a AGD QD to the Valve and the use the Staubli Pro-Disconnect to the tank be ok?

2: Or just connect the SS line to the valve and only use the Staubli connected to the tank?

3: Or use to Staubli connections... expensive....

As for the LOCTITE, I thought WHITE or PURPLE should be used for air-line fittings.

                              Thanks,
                              David
