Webmaster and PM's

Hi Webbie,

Something did happen to the PM portion of the site for a while the other day. I sent several PM's to Grey Goose which he never received.

Seems to be working now, but it was around the same time that I saw someone else on the site commenting on it, (Shartley or maybe CP?)

There are several people who had reached the limit of stored PMs. I removed the limit so that should make everything work well.

I reminded everyone that they need to display messages FROM THE BEGINNING to view all of them and then delete the old ones for space reasons...

Yes... that is why I left the thread online... I was hoping people would read what the real problem was.

Thanks again Webby for pointing that out again.. I think many overlooked that part.

Is there anyway to get the defaults to show PM's from the beginning rather than just the last day? For some reason even when I know I have a PM it doesn't show it under 'last day'

If you could set it as a default that would be good webby, then people would know all the stuff they have. If it gets too much and too slow for them to load then it's a good reminder for them to delete their rubbish

Nope - sorry -that isnt an option in either site admin or user control panel....
