    White Ano?

ok guys, ive been looking around and getting quotes on getting ano done to one of my markers. i would really like to get it done in a dust white, though i havent seen anything with a dust white ano in person. Im looking for people's opinions on white anodizing that they either have seen or have themselves. pictures would be helpful too.

    thanks

A bunch of kids at my field got there guns annoed dust white or as close to white as you can get since its kind of a hard anno to do. Most whites are like a very dust silver. I really like them but it all depends on how good the anoer is.

          thanks guys, keep um coming.

like the powder coated one as well, though i dont want to use powder coat because ot problems with tolerances, etc. considering im thinking about getting the valve to match.

if you are doing a mag forget it, no one can do it. i looked for 4 months, and personally talked with the owners of the major ano companies. For some strange reason the aluminum the mags are made of will not ano white, but turns out bronzish. That is straight from the mouth of alan at destructive and art at a+. also, white dust ano wears off, do not ask me how, but that is what the owners told me. your only option is powder coating.
if you do not have a mag, then you can get white, or close to it. hope this helps

I powdercoated a 'cocker white faded to black once for a guy. It looked pretty cool. I'll see if I can find the pics of it. I forgot which photo server I uploaded it to.
Powdercoated an RT classic entirely white for a guy. The valve and all exposed parts. I just masked off the bottom of the body and the top of the rail so it wouldn't harm any tolerances. Everything else was fine to coat.

This is the closest you'll get to white with anodizing, Destructive Customs does it. From what I've read they dust finish the raw marker & then clear anno it, ends up almost white.
