AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
just to explain a little, this was advertised on ebay as ebay has now taken the decision that paintball guns cannot be sold in the UK through ebay. It may be a legal matter due to stupid idiots running around shooting people in the streets and the close government perception that markers are nearly firearms. Lets hope they never legalise real guns over here.
I do not know if this is an ebay initiative or if its just a no name marker market.
For your information MarkerMart has been set up by paintball players with 15 years of experiance in the game and in the business. The reason behind why we have set it up is as you described. Ebay have decided to stop selling markers which in our opinion does nothing for the image of paintball and paintball players. To redress the balance we have launched MarkerMart as a place for paintballers to trade with each other on a secure site and for free for the month of january and there after for a very low price e.g 25pence a post and no commision.
So yes we are at the moment a no name marker shop but we hope that with the support of real players the site will grow into popular site.
