    radios!

I'm looking to get some radios for myself and my friends to use in scenario games. I want a range of a mile or so with a mic and earpiece, and preferably remote PTT capabilities. And I don't want to spend a lot. Paintball places don't seem to carry much in the way of radio gear.

Doesnt the proteus offer a 'com' kit, that you can plug into a talkabout radio?

Midland GT400 or 450's are excellent radios. The entire team uses them (they are a dual-pin set-up) & have a fairly extended range. They are midly priced (you get two per set) and seem to be very reliable in all kinds of weather.

You can check out Ebay or www.midlandradios.com for more info & pricing.

Any of the "Talkabout" style radios shoud work fine. Add one of these throat mic and ear piece and you are all set.

What he said... I bought a pair that have a 2mile radius(depending on terrain), but there are new ones out that have more range than that(cant remember the range) Just add a external mic and youre good to go.

Walmart had cobra a two pack with 2 mile range, charger, headset for about 20-30 bucks i believe. My brothers play with them and they work good for some practical jokes too.

I just want this stuff gone, super low prices
