Meching my Mag...need advice/comments.

Ok...here is my mastor plan...please give me advice on a few questions I have.

Things I'm getting on or before the 22nd:

1. I am trading my Nickel ULE for a Black ULE on the 22nd

2. Trading my Hyperframe for a Black X-Valve w/ lvl 10 and ULT.

3. Selling RT valve to get either a Logic or Rogue Vert frame (leaning towards Rogue's)


Things I am getting but don't really have money for:

4. Getting a new rail, I have a classic...I would probly want to get a used Rogue body, or RT pro body.

5. Im getting a vert asa (whats a good one?)

6. Im getting a regulator and gutting it, or getting a gutted one (i really want a CP one...do these allign good with rogue vert frames length wise? What else are good ones to match?)

7. Rogue Snatch grip

8. Rogue Strangler Feedneck

9. New asa (i like the ones that leak out the air when you turn it off)

I think thats it...I'm gonna listen to any advice you guys have and post before and after pics. Also, if you look at Tmax's sig, the gun on the left is kinda what Im planning on doing.

because mags dont run well with secondary regs since they allready have one built in (its also unnecisary)...plus it just adds more wieght

ok, then why are you getting a gutted one, I don't get it.

Why not just get a gas through grip? they are cheaper than buying a reg and gutting it.

well...i want a sweet looking gun, i dont really care about costs...i may just get a stock cocker one (they look decent) for like $10...

there are some really nice looking gas throughs, but its your gun and its all personal preference.

Well im open to anything. Its just that all gas throughs i see look like classic expansion chambers...and i dont like those...i want something more streamline.

I like the feel and perfomance of my Logic vert frame... I like the style of the trigger better than the one on the Rogue frame... Logic uses his own "Fireblade" stlye trigger, while Rogue uses a version of the pre-existing intelliframe blade. Maybe consider a foregrip like the one I have... It's really light, well it's a hollow tube, and has a nice feel to it. The only thing is that it only works with a classic rail and you expressed interest in another type.

I like your gun alot...its gonna probly end up like that...more i think about it i want to keep my rail...maybe get it powdercoated gloss black. But personally those are the kind of foregrips i dont like the looks of. TY though.

If you get it powder coated, make sure the top and bottem of the rail do not get coated. As that will screw with the tolerences. It may be easier to get it either re-anoed or get a new rail already done is gloss black.

dye and custom products both make nice gas thrus i prefer the dye ones!! also logics frame works with rt rails!!! i dont know why anyone would think they didnt!!!

Man tmax...yours would look amazing with the front grip alittle closser to the frame, and the asa vert...which is what im doing

I would talk to Luke over in the dealer's forum about any custom work you might want to do. He milled my RT rail and ULEd my AM rail while adding a nice custom made 15degree asa. He does great work for really cheap. Check out my hypermag now:





He also milled my RT rail to look like this:



I love his work so if you want to make a custom mag then talk with Luke and he'll hook you up.
