Question about the second IAO Team (Not AFTICA)

Just wondering, but will the AUTOMAGS.org Owners Group Team be shooting AGD products? Or is it going to be all willy-nilly in marker choice.

I mean, it only seems fair...MOG, POG, BEOG, AFTICA, AKAOG; they all have one thing in common. They all play with the same type of marker.

It would just seem odd to have a team representing AUTOMAGS.ORG shooting half a dozen differet types of markers.

I mentioned it in the other thread... but you must shoot the marker(s) made by the manufacturer/owners group you are representing.

Example, AFTICA is an AO team, therefore we can only use mags of some sort. MOG is a matrix only team, and POG can only use Palmer made guns.

In fact, BEOG were using all rainmakers last year, they all(except 1) broke down and they were sending them out with only a couple guns per game. We eventually allowed them to break out thier backups in the spirit of sportsmanship. The rainmaker team was hilarious to watch... fudging and fiddling with the RM's during a game...

Yeah, I know all that. But this proposed second team doesn't really have an affiliation. Are they, like AFTICA, an "All-Mag" team?

Sorry, i misunderstood... yes they would be an Automags Online team, therefore needing to shoot mags.

They have an affiliation. They are an Automags.org team. AO is an Automags Owners group, they play with Automags. For all intense and pursposes the two teams really should be "Team Automags.org - Newbies" and "Team Automags.org - AFTICA". Just like POG had POG Brass and POG Nickle, and AKA had "AKA - 2Liter" and "AKA - Soda Can"

I would have liked the Owners Group Division into more of an Internet Community Division. But then how do you regulate it. Such as I would have liked to have a PBN team, PBReview team, CPPA team, etc.

I like this idea. It gives a little bit more freedom with the team setup. But, like you said, it would be kinda hard to regulate.

some exceptions will be made for such teams. on a case by case basis.
