In Street Law class today the professor mentioned paintball. We've been studying torts and more specifically waivers/liability issues. He was explaining that a waiver is never a 100% defence against a law suit since there are so many holes in them. The example he used was paintball. He says, "If you go play paintball, the waiver is only going to cover injuries related to the game." If you are injured lets say by tripping over a rock or bulge in the floor for example, you can still sue. It was cool. Just goes to show you how much we're mainstreaming into regular culture. Remember when you use to say, "I play paintball" and people responded, "Oh you play ping pong"? Now I never have to explain myself twice.
