    Evil Ultra Tips

Evil has come out with a new tip for thier pipe system. The old ones are extremely thin at the tip and ding and scratch very easily. I was just wondering if anyone has one of these new tips and if they are thicker and feel like they would hold up better and worth the 50 bucks.
I think they do look good though.

the tips have been out for a while (I've seen them on their webpage months ago) and AFAIK, the ends of them are just as thin. It's just a different style.

What shatter said is true the tip is just as thin, and is prone to the same problems as the older style.

hmm....i guess I wont be picking one up then. i love my pipe kit, its just like i feel like im going to screw the tip up if i get to rough with it, and i dont feel like spending another 50 bucks for another one.

ive had my pipe for a while now, and as long as you arnt careless or purposefully bang it against something they seem to hold up fine

There is more material in the ends of these new tips, they're more resistant to twisting. They're also a little quieter, not so much "ping" when you fire as with the older tips.

its funny i wanted the older tip when i bought my pipe but all i could get was these new ones! yes they are thicker and they lock tight on to the back alot tighter than the older style i have to always have another person help me break them apart!! so far it holds up really well and works just as good as the old style!! i like it still wish i had the older style but theres not much i can do!!
