There are better cockers than the karni, such as the nexus, 05 race halfblocks, etc etc.

I don't think they are as numerous as the Karni, but yes their are a lot more cockers.

I think AKA is still on their last batch on Vikings. So they might still be considered 05.

The last batch is almost ready to be completed. I think the bodies are almost done being anodized. They would be 04's made in 05.

As far as the new tourny gun- I cant see the Speed as being one. With the G7 coming out in the next few months the Speed wont sell enough. The Alias has been around for a while, but it may have a chance. I see good things for the Freestyle. It's efficency should get a boost this year which will help it sell.

I mean, does the age really matter? There are brand new guns being made that are clearly inferior to ones made 1-2 years ago.

i love my dm5 but i strongly doubt that anybody has actually shot all of those in order to make a fair choice.

1-2 years? More like 3-4 years. AKA's Excal is still on of the best markers out there.
