Which would you pick for under 500.

Right now I'm in the market for a decent electro. I've narrowed it down to two falling into my price range.

Vision Impulse $499 and 04 BKO w/PDS $485

Now being that Ive shot neither of them, I'm basically going by what you guys post here. I guess what I'm looking for is effiencancy, what upgrades I would need, and reliability. What are you guys opinions of the two, and which would you pick.

Go with the impulse its a little more mainstream, you can make it a good shooting marker. I would save another 100$ 200$ and buy yourself a nice timmy or matrix. Thats what I would really do.

Neither. Get the B2K5 for $450 w/ PDS.

EDIT: NM I don't think it's out yet. In that case get the B2K4 w/ PDS.

world of difference if you get a matrix, its as reliable, but soo much faster and quieter

they are great, and i dont know if they still ahve the old programming, but my b2k2 was absolutely annoying with the trigger filter

I'd personally pick up a used angel. But between those two i'd get the Imp.

However, i'd get a b2k4 or b2k5 with PDS over the Imp.

I just never liked how BKO's look

Impulse, I've owned both(B2K, not a B2K5). The Imp is just better IMO.

The Imp was easy to use, and if I went to a field that didn't fill N2, I can just throw my 20oz CO2 on there and go. The differen't upgrades available are nice. I shoot an Angel now and would recommend a nice LCD over the Imp, but that wasn't a choice at all. Out of those 2, I'd take the Imp. But I'd be sure to try both before I bought.
