Another one of my gripes is, I dont think there should be that many external moving parts on a marker firing that fast. I'm too paranoid.

new eblade has better antibounce software, longer battery life, and supports breakbeam eyes

The Karnivore is a top-notch autococker that's frankly not worth the money.

Not much, to be honest. Dye Matrices (DM3 style) are good deals, Freestyles shoot great for the price, and ICD's 05 lineup is looking to be pretty good. I just feel that its a huge disadvantage for any tournament level gun to have almost uncurable bounce, as well as a backblock that has a tendancy to smack me in the lens. The E2 frame will get rid of the bounce issues but was not available when I used a Karnivore. I'm not a big fan of a magnetic trigger although that's personal preference. The Karni is light, but it just didn't feel very solid - I've never felt comfortable playing balls out with Cockers because of all the delicates up front, and the Karni is even slimmer and more milled than any others that I've used. On the plus side it did look very good. I just didn't feel it felt significantly better or was significantly faster to justify its price over any other ebladed cocker, unless you're buying based on looks.

That was my biggest gripe with e-cockers. I loved them and all, but they had some undeniable downfalls. It looks like the e2 fixes alot of em though.

Yep, but at $449 from Paintballgear for an E2, you could get an entirely new gun or make a hefty downpayment on one, and still have your Cocker for a backup.
