I found out about the PAST expo while eating lunch at Hollywood Sports Park today. The owner had a special Sport Chalet day for us. I got to play for free with unlimited paint/air. I missed the whole expo and last years too. Who on AO is going to LA Open this year?

I'll be there at the LA Open (saturday) :)

Duck info by Steve "Mongo" Brett:
      • homepage: http://www.desertduckdd68.com/
      • It is a "Redux" of the original Desert Duck...
      • It is the legendary fusion of aluminum, stainless steel, springs, screws, and seals, with a bit of Nelspot, and a LARGE dose of the Colt 1911...
      • Offered exclusively thru I & I Sports and a limited amount of custom markers and optional items thru this website (http://www.desertduckdd68.com)...
      • two versions: regular twist for CO2, and a "slam pack" super quick changer...
      • expect $550-$650 price range...
      • EXTREMELY smoooooth and precise pump stroke...
      • Excellent ballance and handling...
      • Great slide trigger...
      • It has a barrel system that uses precision machined inserts, which allows the player to adjust for ANY size paintballs, improving the accuracy and efficiency of the marker...
      • It has compatibility with Phantom internals, so you can keep your marker tuned, without worrying about parts being available...
      • Custom, clear acrylic feed blocks that allow changing the markers configuration, is another feature incorporated into it- will enable you to go from modified to stock class in seconds!
      • Many optional items will be offered- adjustable, three dot, and ghost ring sights for example...
      • An extended barrel , an IPSC style compensator, slam-change, extended front grip, and other items still in the works, including custom anodizing, milling, and high-end grip panels giving your marker that "one of a kind" look and feel...

top shows slide rearward- bottom shows our NEW slamchange model with barrel system exposed

Finished and functioning--- the Standard model with twist change- below, and the Modified model with optional slam style changer. Both markers have an optional extended front grip, and are yet to be anodized. An "introDUCKtory" price will be released on 2/15/2005. We will be taking orders as soon as field testing is complete..

Here they are........ Quack Whack! ready for Pomona Expo

      Standard model with slide off.....
