Sticky the picture thread?

just seeing the picture thread being up'd all the time does anyone else think it should be stickied?

im attaching a poll feel free to vote or make comments


i dont think we need the e-mag pictures,karta pictures etc ALL stickied just the main "official automag pictures"

il also delete this thread if no one is interested or the mods say its not happening.

i agree there were some stickys up there that were cluttersome. but most the stickies are only here for soo long(few weeks MAX)

the only thing up there would be the picture thread and maybe an announcement or two.


another idea is a seperate pic forum but that would just be a mess i think(for all pic threads)

I voted yes, but with an exception... NO posts other than pics and maybe a brief summary of the setup. Other than that it wouldn't work. There are tooooo many non pic posts on the one we have.

I really think the best Idea would be to have a gallery like there used to be. Submit your pic/summary and have someone post it in the gallery.

my mainf ear of it being stickied is TONS of text post about nice gun or what is that or where to find/buy that.

Requirments
-must have discrption and
-pic must be a standard size,
-standard pixel count and file size
-quality pic as well.

then it can be sticked. most pic threads are terrible with no discrip. 10 different sizes that screw up the forum and endless chatter...

I vote no, I would rather see a new top-level "Gallery" forum, then sticky the generic picture thread and dallara/karta threads there, and finally move all the "hey, check out my new ..." threads there too.

I like that idea. Many a time I've gone searching for the Official Picture threads and have to spend 5 min searching for just the right word to catch the threads. Would be nice to have them all there.

definatly sticky it, but get rid of all the text post's.

If it is stickied it should be maintained, if you look through the 60 page one a lot of the links no longer work, so you have endless pages of 1 or 2 markers and the rest is empty.
