damn ive got 5 ULT and 1 lvl10 shim in my ULT and i cant fit anymore. I dont get any bounce or anything at around 850 psi.

Mags dont just bounce when you walk. Not unless you have an insane amount of pressure going into them.

The way I have my mag set up, you can only get 2-3 shots of bounce if you lightly sweetspot the trigger. When you walk a mag, you have to push down harder and longer then you would an electro, so like I said, unless you have a lot of pressure going into it, you won't get the bounce.

17bps, no bounce 850 PSI ON A MECHANICAL gun. I tihnk thats something to boast about.

Oh yeah... Well my mag has a LX, so it makes pizza, and theres a special shim you can put in so it dispenses hand sanitizer.

EDIt Yeah every mag seems to be a little bit unique from its brethren. Try turning your velocity up all teh way (just for kicks), and lightly push teh trigger back ever so slowly. See if you get any autofire or bounce.

Do you realize what an uproar AO would make if an electro-shooter made the same post? Mech shooters automatically begin to cry, "cheat-boards" whenever someone hits over 13bps on their electro, and yet bouncing a 'mag trigger is perfectly fine.

The reason that "EVERYONE" doesn't have a mag is simple: they don't compete with today's supermarkers in the following categories:
- speed
- ease of use
- efficiency
- ability to shoot far into tank
- Anti-Chop Eye system
- one-piece body w/ integrated air chamber
- cost-to-performance ratio
- upgradeability (Rogue is pretty much it when it comes to mag only parts)

Furthermore, I'm interested in knowing what markers (aside from spyders and tippmanns) your mag "blows out of the water." Shockers? Timmies? Matrices? Vikings? Even my old stock Omen could hit 15bps easily, and they run for $200 less than a nice mag. 17bps is fast, for sure, but I guarantee you that you have never consistently shot it during a game, so what does it matter?

It "blows my mind" that people continue to harp on the same darn issues over and over again. Everytime an electro-user posts how fast he can shoot with his gun, a big stink is made about cheating/ramping/insert popular rant topic of the day. Why do the same rules not apply to AGD products (hybrid mode).

I apologize for the negative tone of the post. It's not an assault on you or your 'mag. It's cool that you can hit 17 bps, but what gets me is that you claim that everyone should shoot a mag, as well as claiming (ambiguously) that your mag blows away.

Why don't more people shoot mags? Little to no advertisment of the product, for the price you can get a nice electro. a mech for 350+ just don't seem worth it nowadays.

Ya... LVL 10 is not perfect, it will never be perfect. Break-Beam eyes = damn near perfect.

Videos mean nothing. Sound Clips mean nothing. Seeing it in person is what matters, and being able to prove there's no bounce.

I've shot 17 in-game, with paint, for half a hopper.

Electro-Pneumatic markers ARE better, in many ways.

that pretty much sums it up around here. you can rant and rave all you want, but people are definatly biased on the electro bounce vs mech bounce around here.....i dont know why though.....

why does it matter? why cant you leave the idiots alone that say i can shoot 18 bps with no bounce? instead everyone says it bounces, ramps, or uses a mode...of course it does!! IT DOES NOT MATTER THOUGH?! but all of a sudden zak makes a video of a mag bouncing at 34 bps and its the coolest thing in the world, no one mentions that it sucks because he is not legally pulling that fast. i applaud zak for all of his videos, i even like them, but i also like videos of vikings, trixs, and timmies running away at the same speed or near it. take it easy.....

in threads like this, theres always someone that mentions zak's videos and how no one complains about the speed and how its not legal, but i also remember zak had a video of a viking shooting a qloader and halo along with zak's sfl, and no one complained about the viking.

Because he knows nothing about timmys? I have owned lets see....5 timmys, and can only recall breaking a ball once, because I was using a revvy and my bip was too low.

LVL 10 is annoying as hell. When it works, it is cool. Mine always leaked and I had to change carrier sizes everytime I played.

you sir, are a moron. eyes work better than LX. in a timmy, if the ram is adjusted correctly, and your halo isnt pushing past the detents, they will work flawlessly. there is no way to actually chop a ball, (unless on delayed)

you do realize that the marker (on forced) will not fire at all, untill the eyes see a ball?


dm5's, well they have an even better advantage. the bolt is quite light (lx soft) and it has eyes, not to mention its a fast, reliable platform.
