Anodizing just the marker body...Also have a question about polishing...

Where can I get the body from my marker anodized? It has to be cheap with a reasonable turn around. I checked A+ but it was $100 for just the body.

I was also considering polishing. How would I remove the ano? Would the metal still be protected from rusting and what not? How long would the polish last?

      Classic Intimidator.

I want to either anodize the green body to match a red clamshell, or polish the red clamshell to match the green/chrome timmy.

If you polish the frame, it will tarnish, since there is no ano to protect it. It won't actually rust, per se, but it will turn dull and slightly grey-ish. And the tarnish will come off on your hand. If you've ever set up a tent with aluminum poles, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

As for ano, I doubt you'll find someplace cheaper than that, especially if you want it custom matched to another part.
        My feedback is available here.

How much would it be to powder coat it? Will that last and protect it?

PM AcidRain on PBN, he's good and cheap. Even though he does it as a hobby, some of his stuff is seriously impressive.

I think his prices start at $80.
