Question for college paintballers

I'll be off to college soon, and I was just wondering about how I was going to keep my paintball gun. I know they're contraband in a lot of schools.

The best solution I have heard so far is to disassemble your marker while you are storing it in the dorms. Then assemble at the field.

With a mag...this is a piece of cake.

Take it apart, or hide it or something. Just dont do anything stupid with it and it shouldn't even be a problem. Keep it away from drunk people.

A lot of colleges will allow you to store you gun at the Security office, in fact most of them require it. I do know one kid who kept a samuri sword and a paintball gun in his dorm closet but that was his last year there

buy your self a nice locking case like a pelican case, look around on ebay thats where i found mine. Do not bring the gun out if anyone is around. If you have to fire the gun lock the door and turn up led zepplin as loud as your stereo will allow. Overall just excersize restraint and keep the drunks away
might also want to shoot an anynomous email to the housing office and see what there policy is regarding paintball MARKERS

I don't know where you are going, but here at UT there is no problem as long as you are not being stupid with it. You don't have to check it anywhere. If you do have to do some dry firing like Gecko said crank up the music(Ludacris would be my preference).

as long as you are responsible about it there shouldn't be a problem. just don't go walking up and down the hallways with it though, and refer to it as a "marker".

If you do that you should not have a problem

hide it in stereo speakers or in an amp. if that doesn't work try hiding it in the box springs of your bed.

I had it in a duffel bag under my bed. That and the fact my RA was cool and laid back. Not that I was going and shoving it in his face or anything.
