    Freestyle Efficiency

I bought a 2nd generation 2004 ICD Freestyle with the HE bolt and was just wondering what kind gas mileage other people have been getting. I know the freestyle has a steep break in perioud, but i have only been able to get a halo and a little over 3 pods off a 68 filled to 3000psi. Now i know that the freestyle isn't know for it's efficiency, but come on that's kind of low. I have shot about 2 cases through and dry fired the marker about 5,000 times lubed and everything. Is there still some break in pending? How have your many shots are you guys getting? Thanks a lot

i'll fill my stubby tomorrow and tell you how many shots I get off of it dry. I have the same 04 freestyle with 05 internals. Have you ripped apart the regs and relubed them? I heard that will help

      Haha I got worse...

On my 45/4500 I got around a pod for 1000psi.

On my Ego with the same tank I get around a pod for 400psi.

        I have a gen-2 with HE

Right now I get like a hopper and maybe 3 pods off a 45/3000 fill.

ICD states, and I've seen owners say that when the HE breaks in, they get about 1200-1400 off a 68/4500 fill. I have not seen that yet.

In several threads where people were wondering about poor efficiency, greg from ICD has said to call him. So I suggest you contact him. Phone is on ICD's main site.
