Minimag Body and Pump kit

Is it possible to get a stock minimag body and cut it so a mag pump kit will work with it? If so, can anyone here do it (for a price of course)?

Your basic problem would be the pump handle not clearing the body... I'm not sure what you're asking, but I will try to answer a couple possibilities.

It is possible to cut the front of the body off to shorten it to the length of a Classic mag.

You can use a pump kit with a minibody(no cutting), if there is a mod needed for this, you could just deal with the actual pump handle.

*EDIT* Unless you have an older run minibody, you will need to have the pumpslot milled into the body and rail to accomodate the pump rod. I suggest PM'ing BradAGD, he does pumps a lot.

if you want to make it a pump you will have to get the body milled and aslo the rail milled. once those are milled you just mount the pump handle where the vert asa goes are you are good to go. i dont know if any one here does it

A lot of minimag bodies are already cut for pumps. The sear slot is just wider than normal. So look at it and if it's wider than the sear, it;s already cut for a pump.

Now what you need is the pump kit and a rail that is milled for the pump rod.

Thanks for all the replies. I currently have everything I need for a Pump Map. However the body is just beat up (scratches, gouges, scuffs). Since I have an extra Minimag body (normal sear slot), I figured I try to find someone who could cut it for me since I don't have the tools to do it myself.

contact destructive ccustoms. They can cut the slot for you.

also as mentioned brad at pbmaxx does it as well, and i belive that they both charge $25 a body.
