    Compressor to fill HPA tank?

I was wondering if you could fill an HPA tank, like around a 47/3000 with a air compressor? is that possible?

    Sure.

You need one that will compress 3000psi or better @ $1000-$2000 or you can use a standard compressor and a 'Booster' @ ~$1000.

Yup. Standard shop type compressors generally only fill up to about 140-150psi. Some may go slightly higher.
