    Copper plated paintball guns?

Does anyone have a picture of a copper plated paintball gun? I am reading about how you can copper plate aluminum if you treat it with a Zincate solution.

I am trying to decide what to do to my freestyle, I think copper plating it would make definatly stand out from the crowd, or possibly black chrome.

You may have a problem with the inside. If I remember correctly, copper plating is somewhat thick. It may cause tolerance issues with the bolt.

Thats simple, you just cork the opennings and don't plate the inside.

Copper will require lots of cleaning, since it tarnishes and turns green VERY quickly.

If you did this, having it tarnish would be the best part, IMO.

I think a copper/metallic dust finish would look real good.
