    Garage Practice Field! Input wanted

    Hey AO,

Since I'm in the process of filling my house with unneeded crap (i.e. decorating); I've decided to make the garage the coolest room in the house. I've already painted it, and have the requisite dart board, foosball, and poker table.

    Mmmphrgh... not quite enough...

I've got it! Indoor practice field! Brilliant!

So here's the thought process: 10' netting running on perimeter of the ceiling, probably on hooks or something. Re-ball only. Flooring I'm not sure of; I may want to put some turf in so one could crawl and dive around, but it can't look garish, and I have to be able to get the car in most of the time.

The main issue is bunkers. I'd love to pick up a few airball bunkers, but I am unsure as to 1. can you buy individual pieces and 2. how costly are these to purchase. Also, how long would setup/takedown be with most in-home compressors.

An alternative would be DIY bunkers; plywood for snake, and smaller "home plate" and "doghouse" style. I'm thinking one could make standups as well; maybe out of a wood structure with cloth material stretched over it?

Looking to have two standups diagonally across, multi-stepped snake, and prob doritos or doghouses on the other side.

    Anyways, looking for input.

      Good point ^^

It's actually not. Standard width 2 car, I'm pretty sure. ~20 feet wide by ~15 deep, maybe.

Leaning towards; P1 @standup vs P2 @ snakehead. P2 tries to bump up a ladder. Or PvP in the standups. Most likely only 1 on 1.

10 ft. x 10 ft. is insanely small, games would be 1 second long, don't waste your money.

erm 20 x 15? Yes it's small, but as I stated, it's intended for 1on1 drills and such. Plus, after initial costs, it should be free!

nyet on the basement. I don't know, I figured you bring the velocity down to 225-ish and just go at it...

More of a worth a couple hundes to be able to practice on off-weekends.

I can see putting up netting and a big red chrono. It would a good place for tuning, testing, ect. The field idea seems kinda...out there?

If you really have your mind set on doing this, may I suggest just using the garage for snap shooting drills, place a bunker(airball/homade/whatever) at one end and use a hopper or somethingelse on a broomstick for small targets, and snap away. It sounds way too small to do any type of useable 1 vs 1 drills.

                      kapp sells individual bunkers

I 'd think that most companies like sup air (http://www.supairball.com/) would sell the bunkers indiviually if you give them a call .

Well, you said you already had stuff in it, so I assumed it was going to not be the whole garage, still too small imo, even for 1 v 1.
