    Freestyles....

Any opinions on the 04's... With the recent drop in price, they seem very attractive. I already have a Viking but wouldn't mind picking up a backup.... I've heard you really need the new bolt for the 04's to make them fairly efficient... Aside from that, are there any downsides on them?

i loved the one i shot at AONE, great marker. i havent heard too much thats bad about them, except from Blazestorm here on AO. check out the dealers section, madmolly has some newer ones (i think they might even have HE) for pretty cheap. with the price drop i have been thinking about getting one. but maybe ill just steal your backup instead

The older generation 1s will come with that sort of weird frame, an older valve, older electronics, and probably won't come with an HE bolt. I'd look for a generation 2 04, if you can find one for cheap, I'd take it over the gen1.

Was ICD purchased by NPS? Just wondering why the Naughty Dogs and Russian Legion switched to them from Empire(NPS).

does that mean that it wont accept a HE bolt? (are gen1 freestyles compatible with HE bolts?)

I think both teams are sponsered by NPS and they use both guns

Any freestyle that did not come with the HE bolt will need minor machining to accept the HE bolt. ICD will do the install including parts and labor for about $100 last I checked. I did my gen 1 myself, it was a piece of cake.

Sweet guns Local shop has a 04 body with 05 internals screamin meme $600!!! Black to green fade. If I had to have a gun that took batteries the freestyle would be it.

yes, gen 1's will accept he bolts, but u must send it in to icd. the only fs's with near vert frames are

                          gen 1's.

gen 2's u can tell because of 45* frame AND sideplates.

05's have different milling, 45* frame, and NO sideplates.

bonebrake's have a 45* frame with no hump, acid anno, cp reg, bb feedneck, stiffi barrel, and custom milling.

naughty dogs have a thumb adjustable lpr, longer hpr, custom (straight) trigger, and dif. milling with a paw print on the backblock.

freestyle pro's have a snatch grip, and a back pull pin, along with shorter (vertically speaking) frames.

nd freestyle pro's: we dont really know yet.

freestyle ab: tricked out custom fsp's.
