    Drop forward for dye stubby

hi i have a shocktech standard drop forward and my dye throttle stubby 70ci tank wont fit. it barely does without the tank cover. if i buy the shocktech long drop forward would that solve my problems? and if not do any of you guys know any other drop forward that look pretty close to shocktech that is just simple looking. thanks in advance.

i thought the point of a stubby was to not use a drop. neway Is the tank rubbing up on the drop forward? If so just try different drops. Go to your pro-shop and just see if the tank will rub up or not on different models.

get the new psycho ballstics Z drop, it's adjustible, then there is the category 5 drop that is adjustible as well.

      hope you get your wish.

and you must have a tight setup!

My solution: Get a Rail and on/off, do you really need a drop with a stubby tank? It's bringing the marker closer to you, how much more closer do you need it?

Don't worry about asking questions at all! I personally use a cp rail and a kapp on/off. There are much better on/offs than kapp. THey make on/offs that you push a button and it turns the air on and off,but these are fairly expensive. I would go with a cp on/off or whatever good deal you find.

OH I almost forgot! you can also get a Check it products uni-mount. These arent expensive at all, I know a guy who sells them for $35 brand new. Instead of having a rail and an on/off, the unimount has a cage that the on-off goes into. The on/off gets locked down by four set screws located on the cage. THe only downside is everytime you have to take off your on/off you have to take out the macro fitting or ss line fitting.

You can always talk to luke, and just give him some measurements of the drop you want and i pretty sure he can do it.

Or keep the drop you have and put some type of shims in between where the ASA connects to the drop. Itll drop it down so your tank will allways fit in. You could use washers if you wanted but thatd look ugly. Just an idea.
