so heres the ultimate question, ive seen the benchmark offset cradles, and obviously you can change it to either side. thus the drop is separate from the cradle. now what i want to know is can you screw the cradle right to your gripframe much like a rail/onoff combo would be for a screw in tank? are the holes in the same pattern?

you can probably get away with it, but you may need to countersink the holes you plan to use to mount the "rail" to the frame.
