Thanks
Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
You'll need a Stainless Steel AGD Quick Disconnect (don't get chrome), two Kapp swivel fittings, shrink wrap (electronics store), a 4 1/2" (end-to-end) braided hose, and yellow teflon tape (yellow is for air lines and works much better than the white).
It would be hard to do without the swivel fittings.
Post photos when you're done, but not if it looks better than mine.

Hmmm
This seems to be something that is very person-specific, as some people use Loctite and all it does is leak and then gum up the threads and internals (I've cleaned it out of valve interiors) while others use it and it works everytime. If Loctite works for you, then you are probably the other type of person who cannot go near Teflon tape without shredding it to bits and blowing strands of it through your marker. I use yellow teflon tape for air fittings and I can assemble or remove any fitting in under 30 seconds with no mess. No waiting or leaks either. But I know lots of people like the Loctite.
I think it comes down to proper use of the materials and careful installation.Comment

I like that setup, but 4.5" SS hose doesnt seem to be a very easy to find size. I suppose if I knew where to look it would be alot easier to find
Any suggestions?

I'm not positive, but I think a 4" hose is actually 4.5" end to end. If you can, the best bet is to go to a local shop and measure the piece against your marker.Originally posted by NigelFI like that setup, but 4.5" SS hose doesnt seem to be a very easy to find size.
