    Justifying the 'Mag?

Do you guys ever get tired of defending the Automag/AGD?

Everytime I go play, there's someone that wants to argue how much 'mags "suck." Man, it's driving me crazy. Not that I have to try and justify my gun, but that I have to explain to some little 12 year old **** with a 'Timmy that 'mags don't chop, they don't suck, AGD isn't dead, etc.. It's almost enough to make a guy want to shoot a cocker.

Ahhh...It feels good to get that off my chest.

    I get that as well....

I tell them they can believe what they want and then I show them what my E-Mag can do on the field.

      Ignorance is bliss.

90% of all Mag Haters have never shot a mag. They're mostly adolescant no nothings. They would probably hate a 1967 Shelby GT 500 because it doesn't get 50 miles to the gallon like their Mommy's Neon.

The Mags speak for themselves....the people who bash them usually are doing it from the elimination box!

I went through this just last night. First time playing in a while.

I had my RedRider Powder coated, iFramed, Flatlined Mag at the field. My 'Baby'. I had every ref tell me that the (stock, blade) trigger was sweet. I got nothing but compliments all night.

All the kiddies asked me where I got that 'NEW' gun!?!?! Very strange. Also played the best ball of my life. It was a WONDERFUL evening, well spent!

The only guys your going to get junk from are people who are 12-14 years old. Anyone who has played for 5-6 years KNOWS how great the Automag is. Chances are they played with one at some point. In the early 90's the Mag with the BEST gun out.

hey, Im 12 years old, is that supposed to mean somthing? I think mags are THE BEST guns, and I have only been playing 1 year. If I had a choice between an E-Mag and an Angel, I would pick E-Mag.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry so much on how people perceive the Mags. My friends with fixed up cockers and angels have had more problems than me and my mag. One time, a guy we were playing with who had an angel and didn't charge the batteries...he ended up renting a gun that day. Another friend of mine had an angel and a classic mag as his back up. After about a year, he will be selling his angel so he can fix up his mag. My point...reliability of the mags is second to none, imo.

Besides, just like I read on another thread by someone else, it's not the gun that shoots you, it's the player who takes you out.

I just want to end this post by saying...I LOVE MY MAG! She might not be the prettiest gun out there, but she's very loyal and treats me well. =)

No, it doesn't mean anything. There's just this 12 year old kid at my local field and his parents bought him a 'timmy, nitro, etc.. And he argues with me every time.

So, it's just that 12 year old that pisses me off.

ya well my mag had a barrel issue at the beginig, so my friend who has a bushmaster thinks mags suck and he wants a cocker..... so i decided if he ever makes fun of mags again, and is pro Bushy/cocker im gunna drain the battery on his bushy or mess up his cockers timing.

                      Hrmmm.......

If I had a choice between a Emag(Xtreme, SFL, or Black teflon) and a Dark Angel, I'd take the Emag and a Flatline tank.

Emags kick ***, and just because Angels are what all the "pros" have doesn't mean that's what is the best. I strongly believe that the Emag is one of, IF NOT the best marker in the world.......And I only played with it for a day. I played with the Angel for close to a month.

I've never really had a problem at my field. A coupld people have said "Nice mag, I personally dont like them though" but I've never had to defend them, really. Most people recognize they are good guns.

The fact that we have a decent presence there helps. Myself, Riotz, UDTSEAL, Tunaman, etc show everyone that mags can and will rock you

I try very hard to proliferate the idea that Mags suck.
I especially do this at the field I am playing that day. I tell them that as soon as I can afford it, I am buying a cocker or Angel. I tell them how my gun breaks 10 balls a game. How I can never get off a good shot. How I am always outranged.
After about 3 hours, with a whole bunch of dead "paintball" bodies stacked up in front of me, from trying to outrange me, bunker me, or shooting me out when my gun is down, after that they tend to assume I am just a stinkin' liar, and maybe mags aren't so bad after all.
Why do I want everyone else I play against having as good a gun as me?

                              So, MAGS SUCK!!!.
