stretching out gun value...

well right now i have an 04 speed with a WAS board and im looking to buy a 05 speed. how can i better stretch a ~650$ gun to pay off a 1050$ gun better? i dont really feel like dropping 400$ then more for a evolve kit. i want to get one of those pink ones with a 45 frame so i doubt ill find one new
