ION Pictures and Review

Yeah I'm waiting another week before I officially get my own. My friend is letting me borrow his for the rest of the week to play with and answer questions. He didn't trust himself enough to take it apart so he told me to write a review and instructions as payment for borrowing the gun. lol Little did he know I would have written the review regardless and maybe would have payed him to borrow it. Oh well.

I have shot an ION and each time it shooted felt like it was gonna fall apart. I prefer a BKO.

Ions are so much nicer, lighter, and they have breakbeam eyes. Sure the icd gun is all metal, but really for the same price you can have the fist 300 dollar high end electro. Nuff said

Also, I wouldn't call the ion high end either, thats REALLY stretching things lol.

People act like the ION is some really nice marker. Sure, its light and has decent eyes for the price, but you're not getting the quality/reliability other markers give you. Also, other markers can be fast LEGALLY. From what I've seen, Ion's are fairly slow w/o their little ramping.

i own icd's and an ion. the ion is a much better value for the money and performs just as well as my b2k3 regardless of rebound mode.

i'm actually getting rid of my b2k3 and replacing it with my ion.

Maybe you have slow fingers, i was able to get an ION shooting fairly fast without the rebound mode on. It takes getting used to the trigger, but i was killing ppl off the break in xball practice all day today.

yeah i was using ken's (ken barrett from xsf) shocker and I honestly shot the ion just as fast. The shocker is nicer (trigger frame, reg placement, and feel) but for the price you cant beat the ion
