      10 round unassisted feed
      12 gram
      unassisted pump

i believe those are the guidelines.

and yes, you could make the sniper 2 an SC gun, but it does not come stock as one.

        From the CCI website:

        a. Pump action, 0.68 caliber.

        b. Single 12 gram CO2 powerlet only. No check valves.

        c. Requires the removal (unscrewing) knob or housing to change the powerlet. (No lever changers.)

        d. Horizontal feed, 20 round maximum.

        e. Vertical feed, 10 round maximum. (Any configuration that allows more than one paintball to be stacked over the breech feed opening.)

        f. External velocity adjusters must be locked into position.

        g. Any length barrel. No silencers or sound suppressor extensions.

        h. Any type of stocks, grips and sights.

For true stock class, you also can't have an auto-trigger, assisted pump, and the 12g removal has to involve at least 1.5 turns, I believe. Systems with a lever drop-out for the CO2 are not SC.

Also found this at the SCP website:

True stock class- horizontal feed tube, powered by 12 grams, no ball gates, check valves, auto triggers.

Modified Stock Class- Allows auto-triggers, and either a constant air tank OR a hopper (not both)

Super Stock- Allows constant air and a hopper, as well as check valves, auto triggers, and other modifications.

Open class- Pneumatic assist guns, anything goes, so long as you have to pump it to shoot.

Snipers aren't the easiest guns to run well in stock class. Some internal work needs to be done to make the efficiency good enough to warrent the 12 gram use. Also, you will bee a custom horizontal feed. If I recall even the AMP illunsion feeds arn't easy to find these days for the angel threaded bodies.

They are NOT stock class unless you do some modifying, then you can make them stock... And to really make them worthwhile as stock, you need to put some serious time into tuning them. But after that, they can make some great shooters on 12 grams.

Can the auto-trigger on a phantom be eliminated so it will be 'true stock class'

                    Sniper = No

You can convert it...almost, but without a threaded feed neck allowing you to go horizontal feed with no more the one ball over the breach, your not true SC.

You 'can' have an autotrigger on your gun, pretty much all nelson based pumps are by design, but your expected to 'not' autotrigger when playing SC and stil be considered legal.

                    Everything else posted is correct.

Must be rock and cock, no quick changers(must remave something to change cartridges and threaded ones require a full turn) and no assist in any other way.

Look into a Palmer's SC feed tube. I've got one and it pretty sweet! I use it on a RF sniper.

Well, dont worry about trying to follow any set of rules/guidelines for your sniper. There really isnt many "True" stock class tourneys or events these days. maybe you cold use a stick feed and a 3.5oz tank vertical or a bottomline 7oz tank. What ever you do, ENJOY playing pump. i use a ricochet and a 45/45 screw in alot when i play pump with my sniper. and for sc type play i use an illusion. My reccomendation to you above is an easily changable set-up, to suit your mood.

Where can you can you find a Sniper II now?

I always wanted a Phantom. Small light and easily made to be custom.

As I recall, the Phantom's design doesn't have a way to remove the autotrigger. It's an awesome pump gun though.

is an autotrigger when you hold down the trigger and pump and the paintball comes out? Sorry yeah i know it's a dumb question but i wanna get into stock and am just trying to learn some things.
