Predator 2 DIY Kit ordered from www.logicpaintball.com on Jan. 18th 2005. Didn't get it until about 2 weeks later because it was out of stock. Install everything and the stock timmy eyes for some reason won't work with it. I get lazy and never call tag or logic to get the right size eyes. The ones that come with are too small. I got to radio shack and they have 5mm eyes, but they are slightly too long. In this time I have bought an ego which I've been using. Finally yesterday I get the 5mm eyes. Thank you to tag for hooking me up with the eyes for free. I just had to cover shipping. I didn't even order from them! Finished it today at 8:29pm. About 2 months later.

Hey - GREAT JOB!

I'm wondering, how did you manage with all of the wiring hookups and JST connectors? Did you crimp them yourself, or did you solder them directly to the board?

Just wondering, since I'm considering doing it myself.

68-you don't want them lol, they are basically all broken or messed up. www.airsolder.com sells the right size switches without leads for really cheap.

tyrion2323-I made it sooooo much harder then it really should have been. I learned after the intial cutting and soldering that timmys use the same wire crimps as the predator 2. Basically I could of use the stock switch, put the stock solenoid wires and the stock battery/on off harness in the predator 2 switch with no problems, the only custom part I'd have to do is the eyes. If I installed predator 2 on another gun in general I could do it sooo much cleaner then I did it. It was learning project for sure.

I actually originally mounted the board where the old LCD was just because it fit perfect and I could see the light on the board through the old lcd screen. I thought it would be a lot cooler having it shine through the grips though.

I was amazed at the size of the predator 2 when I first got it, I was just like The fact that this does everything plus more then other boards on the market and is probably less then half the size, it rocks. I highly suggest predator 2. Gave a whole new life to my gun. My 2k2 timmy is by far my favorite gun ever, and I have owned 20+ guns, numerous more expensive then my 2k2 was(650 for gun, 140 for predator 2).
