    ASA port on minimag?

does it serve any purpose or is it just to screw stuff into?

The vertical bottle ASA is for you to screw your tank into, but most people run a gas through foregrip to it or a bottom line.

Can you still hook a minimag up trough the hole in the side of the gun ? Do minimags even have the hole in the side to hook a hose into?

Yes, the access in the valve is still there. You can run a hose straight from your tank to the valve.

It's called a Minimag because of the vert ASA. This makes the overall length of the gun very short, since you do not have the tank sticking out the rear. Other than that, it's operationally identical to a Classic.
