Can you still hook a minimag up trough the hole in the side of the gun ? Do minimags even have the hole in the side to hook a hose into?__________________________________

Yes, the access in the valve is still there. You can run a hose straight from your tank to the valve.
It's called a Minimag because of the vert ASA. This makes the overall length of the gun very short, since you do not have the tank sticking out the rear. Other than that, it's operationally identical to a Classic.
